USA Basketball named an 11-man roster for the 2024 Paris Olympics, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The squad heading to Paris includes Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum, Joel Embiid, Devin Booker, Tyrese Haliburton, Anthony Edwards, Jrue Holiday, Bam Adebayo, and Anthony Davis.

Team USA has kept one roster spot open ahead of the games in July, Wojnarowski added.

Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Paolo Banchero, Mikal Bridges, and Jalen Brunson are the leading candidates for the 12th and final roster spot, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

Golden State Warriors bench boss Steve Kerr will replace basketball legend Gregg Popovich as the team's head coach. He'll be joined by his star point guard Curry, who's set to make his Olympic debut. Haliburton and Edwards will also be playing in their inaugural Olympic Games.

Embiid will represent the United States for the first time after he chose to don the red, white, and blue instead of playing for Cameroon or France.

Adebayo, Holiday, Booker, Durant, and Tatum were all a part of the 2020 USA team that took home the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics.

Lakers duo James and Davis haven't represented the United States at the Olympics since their 2012 gold medal-winning team in London.

USA Basketball will be looking to get back on the podium after a disappointing fourth-place finish at the 2023 FIBA World Cup. The United States has won the previous four Olympic gold medals in men's basketball.
