Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce is joining ESPN to be part of its Monday Night Football pregame show, reports The Athletic's Andrew Marchand.

NBC, CBS, and Amazon also reportedly showed interest in Kelce, who will appear on ESPN's "Monday Night Countdown."

The 36-year-old announced his retirement from football in March after 13 seasons with the Eagles. Considered one of the greatest centers in NFL history, Kelce claimed seven Pro Bowl nods and six first-team All-Pro berths while helping Philly win one Super Bowl title. He appeared in 193 games with the team.

Kelce and his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, also have a popular podcast called "New Heights."

Hosted by Scott Van Pelt, ESPN's "Monday Night Countdown" also features analysts Marcus Spears and Ryan Clark. Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III, who served as an analyst on the program for years, is unlikely to return, according to Marchand.
