The Carolina Panthers suffered their fifth loss of the season against the 3-7 Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. The 29-3 blowout at home to the division rivals marked the Panthers' second straight loss and put a dent in their playoff chances.

With the team sitting second in the NFC South at 5-5 - three games behind the 8-2 New Orleans Saints - tight end Greg Olsen voiced his disappointment in his team's latest performance.

"Guys in this locker room gotta realize, man, playing in the NFL is a lot more than just running around and looking cool, you know. You gotta play," the 13-year veteran told reporters.

The Panthers didn't score a touchdown for the first time this year, and their four turnovers were a season high.

Additionally, Carolina finished the contest 2 of 14 on third down and committed eight penalties.

Olsen described the Panthers' tilt as "just a comedy of terrible football."

"Nobody cares. Nobody feels sorry for you," he said. "Next week, New Orleans is going to try to kill us."

Carolina has a 1-3 record since its Week 7 bye.
