Joson Sanon, the No. 9 prospect in the 2025 ESPN 100, has committed to Arizona, he told ESPN's Jonathan Givony.

The 6-foot-5 wing plans to graduate high school this summer and reclassify to 2024, which will make him eligible to enroll at Arizona immediately to play in the fall. It'll also give him the option to enter the NBA draft in 2025.

"I love the fit, the way they score, how they get you open," Sanon said. "They play at a fast pace, and being in the center of a high-powered offense was attractive. I wanted to get locked in before things really get going with the transfer portal."

Sanon committed to the Wildcats over a list of schools that included Kentucky, Kansas, UConn, Louisville, and Indiana.

Arizona's 2024 recruiting class includes forward Carter Bryant (No. 20), guard Jamari Phillips (No. 34), and big man Emmanuel Stephen (No. 89).

The Wildcats are expected to lose Caleb Love, Pelle Larsson, Keshad Johnson, and Oumar Ballo after this season.

Arizona enters this season's NCAA Tournament as the No. 2 seed in the West region and will face off against No. 15 Long Beach State on Thursday.
