The Indiana Fever have won the 2023 WNBA Draft Lottery and will select first overall next April.

The Minnesota Lynx and Atlanta Dream round out the top three.

It's the first time in franchise history that the Fever have won the top draft selection. They had a 44.2% chance of capturing the No. 1 pick after finishing a league-worst 5-31 during the 2022 campaign.

Indiana will select in the top four for the sixth straight year.

"This is a very strong draft. We will get a great player picking at No. 1," Fever interim general manager Lin Dunn said in a statement.

Here's the full draft order for the first round:

Pick Team
1 Indiana Fever
2 Minnesota Lynx
3 Atlanta Dream
4 Washington Mystics (via L.A.)
5 Chicago Sky (via PHX)
6 New York Liberty
7 Indiana Fever (via DAL)
8 Atlanta Dream (via WASH)
9 Seattle Storm
10 Connecticut Sun
11 Dallas Wings (via CHI)
12 Minnesota Lynx (via LV)

South Carolina forward Aliyah Boston is the projected No. 1 overall pick. The senior led the Gamecocks to last season's national championship, earning the NCAA Tournament's Most Outstanding Player award. She also captured the Wooden Award and Naismith Defensive Player of the Year honors.
