Kobe Bryant supports the idea of women playing in the NBA.

In an interview with Calum Trenaman of CNN, the Los Angeles Lakers legend said some current WNBA players could make the transition to the NBA immediately.

"I think there are a couple of players who could play in the NBA right now, honestly," Bryant said. "There's a lot of players with a lot of skill that could do it."

Bryant named three WNBA stars he thinks would do well in the NBA.

"Diana Taurasi, Maya Moore, Elena Delle Donne," he said. "There's a lot of great players out there so they could certainly keep up with them."

Taurasi is the WNBA's all-time leading scorer and a three-time champion with the Phoenix Mercury. Delle Donne is coming off a championship season with the Washington Mystics and became the first WNBA player to join the 50-40-90 club. Moore won four WNBA titles with the Minnesota Lynx before a hiatus in 2019 to focus on her family and faith.
