Shriners Children's Open: What to know for the TOUR's trip to Las Vegas
After Canadian Mackenzie Hughes prevailed over Sepp Straka in a thrilling two-hole playoff in Mississippi, the TOUR heads west for the Shriners Children's Open.
This week, players will vie for a share of the $8-million purse, and the winner will earn 500 FedEx Cup points.

Last year's result
Sungjae Im grabbed his second career PGA TOUR title with a four-stroke victory over Matthew Wolff at last season's Shriners Children's Open.
Im entered the final round three strokes back of leader Adam Schenk. The South Korean went on to shoot a 9-under 62 to leap into first place. Im had previously held a share of the 36-hole lead with Chad Ramey but had fallen back with a 1-under 70 in the third round.
Schenk ultimately finished five strokes behind in a tie for third with Rory Sabbatini and Marc Leishman, while Adam Hadwin and Lanto Griffin finished six strokes back in a tie for sixth.

The course
The Shriners Children's Open will once again return to TPC Summerlin, a 7,255-yard par-71 course in Las Vegas. The course features bent-grass greens and multiple water hazards.
It was designed by Bobby Weed with Fuzzy Zoeller acting as a player consultant. Three players, including defending champion Im, hold the 72-hole record of 260. The tournament's 18-hole record is a 59 from Chip Beck at Sunrise Golf Club in 1991, while this particular course's 18-hole tournament record is a 60 shot by J.J. Henry and Rod Pampling on separate occasions.
