Steve Williams will serve as Jason Day's caddie at next week's U.S. Open, the golfer confirmed to Golf Channel.

Williams, who previously worked with the likes of Tiger Woods and Adam Scott, was seen alongside Day at Pebble Beach on Saturday.

He most recently caddied regularly for Scott before retiring in 2017.

Day has been using longtime friend Luke Reardon as his caddie since that year.

Williams helped Woods win at Pebble Beach by a major-record 15 strokes in 2000. He partnered with Woods for 13 of his 15 major titles.

Day cracked the top 10 at the U.S. Open five times between 2011 and 2016 but has missed the cut in each of the last two years at the tournament.
