Tiger Woods saved his best for last, closing the Players Championship with a 3-under 69 at TPC Sawgrass on Sunday.

While battling through wet, windy, and cold conditions with nothing but pride to play for, Woods churned in a four-birdie, one-bogey performance to end on a high note. However, he still finished the tournament outside the top 30 at 6-under par.

"This is one of the most stressful golf courses you'll ever play with wind," Woods said of Sunday at Sawgrass.

Overall, Tiger had a strong week off the tee, but uncharacteristically struggled with his irons. He didn't three-putt all week and added his game is "right on track" for Augusta, according to Golf Channel's Tiger Tracker.

He'll take next week's Valspar Championship off before returning for the WGC-Dell Match Play Championship in Texas, which begins March 27.
