Matt Kuchar continues to cruise in Mexico, carding a 6-under 65 in Round 3 of the Mayakoba Golf Classic to sit four shots clear of the field.

Once again, the 40-year-old put together a nearly perfect outing after opening the event with back-to-back rounds of 64. He posted seven birdies on Saturday, and Kuchar has recorded only two bogeys this week through three days at El Camaleon Golf Club.

Kuchar (-20) is looking to collect his eighth career PGA Tour win and first since 2014.

Whee Kim is alone in second. He followed his 63 in Round 2 with a 6-under 66 performance on Saturday.

Cameron Champ was putting pressure on Kuchar throughout the day, but he walked off the 18th green with a disappointing double-bogey to fall six shots back.

The low round of the day belonged to Aaron Wise (-14) who fired an 8-under 63 to climb into a tie for fifth.

Notables Tony Finau (-12) and Rickie Fowler (-10) will both need miracles on Sunday to have any chance of winning.
