Twitter has field day after Day rocks high-tops, jogging pants at Open
Justin Thomas was trending early Thursday for his fashion statement at Royal Birkdale, but Jason Day's choice of footwear and pants on Day 1 of the season's third major sent Twitter into a frenzy.
Day went with a more Rickie Fowler-like look, sporting high-top shoes and jogging pants at The Open Championship - a style that's no longer permitted on the LPGA Tour.
Day's wife, Ellie, clearly loved it:
