Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen didn't finish Sunday's 29-27 loss to the Detroit Lions due to a sprained ankle, head coach Mike Zimmer said postgame, according to Chris Tomasson of The St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Thielen's sprain is of the high ankle variety, and he'll undergo tests to determine a potential timeline for his return, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The wideout finished the contest with one reception for zero yards on two targets.

The Vikings relied on Justin Jefferson heavily with the veteran receiver out. Jefferson recorded 182 receiving yards and grabbed a late touchdown, though it wasn't enough for Minnesota to stop Detroit from grabbing its first victory of the year.
