All Buccaneers players, coaches, staff fully vaccinated
The Buccaneers join the Atlanta Falcons as clubs to have all players fully vaccinated.
Both the NFL and NFLPA have strongly encouraged league personnel to get vaccinated. The league has incentivized franchises that surpassed the 85% threshold by easing restrictions.
Tampa Bay running back Leonard Fournette confirmed he is vaccinated after initial hesitancy. "You can still catch it, but it makes it a lot better to have the shot," Fournette said, per ESPN's Jenna Laine. The 26-year-old added that his desire to be "the best teammate" possible served as a motivation.
Meanwhile, Tampa Bay removed kicker Ryan Succop from the team's reserve/ COVID-19 list. Defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh and offensive linemen Earl Watford and Nick Leverett currently remain on the Bucs' reserve group.
The Buccaneers will host the first contest of the 2021 regular season when they take on the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 9.
