Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady will meet again when the Kansas City Chiefs face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Super Bowl LV in two weeks.

The star quarterbacks will go head to head for the fifth time in three years and the defending Super Bowl MVP is looking forward to the matchup.

"Being able to go up against one of the greatest - if not the greatest - quarterbacks of all time in his 150th Super Bowl, it's going to be a great experience for me," Mahomes joked after the Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills to win the AFC Championship Game.

"To go out there and have a chance to repeat and to get to do it against the best, it's something special and I'm excited for the opportunity."

Brady won the first two matchups, including the 2018 AFC Championship Game, as a member of the New England Patriots. The 2019 regular-season matchup went to Mahomes, as did this year's Week 12 meeting when Kansas City went up 27-10 against Tampa Bay and hung on for a 27-24 victory.

Each matchup has ended in a one-score game.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is also looking forward to a rematch between the 43-year-old future Hall of Famer and the 25-year-old defending champion.

"Every one of them is tremendous. I wouldn't expect anything different (this time)," he said, according to ESPN's Adam Teicher.
