Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire is listed as inactive and will miss his third straight game on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns due to ankle and hip injuries.

The rookie should be ready to return in the AFC Championship Game if the Chiefs get past the Browns in the divisional round, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Edwards-Helaire started all 13 regular-season games he appeared in this campaign, racking up 803 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. He was listed as questionable for Kansas City's playoff opener on Sunday.

With Edwards-Helaire unavailable, the Chiefs figure to deploy a backfield committee of Le'Veon Bell, Darrel Williams, and Darwin Thompson.

The Chiefs will also begin their postseason without wide receiver Sammy Watkins, who was previously ruled out with a calf injury.
