Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. tested negative for COVID-19 a day after being sent home with an illness, a source told Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

All other Browns players and personnel reportedly tested negative as well. The news means Cleveland is cleared for its crucial divisional matchup Sunday against the AFC North-leading Pittsburgh Steelers.

Beckham is still listed as questionable for Sunday following the negative result, as are quarterback Baker Mayfield due to a rib injury and fellow wideout Jarvis Landry due to hip and rib issues, per Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.

Mayfield was able to practice fully Friday and said earlier in the week that he intends to play.

Beckham will remain away from the team facility Friday as per the league's coronavirus protocol, added Pelissero.

The former New York Giants standout has racked up 21 catches and 294 yards in five games this season. He's also snagged three touchdowns, just one fewer than he had in all of 2019.
