The NFL won't host a Pro Bowl game at the end of the 2020 season due to COVID-19 considerations, the league announced Wednesday.

Instead, the NFL will work with the NFL Players Association and other partners to introduce a "variety of engaging activities" while recognizing the league's stars virtually.

The Pro Bowl will return at the end of the 2021 campaign and take place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where it was supposed to be held this season.

Players will still be selected as Pro Bowlers, with fans able to cast ballots starting Nov. 17.
