Drew Brees' second touchdown pass of Monday night's game against the Indianapolis Colts, the 539th of his Hall of Fame career, brought him into a tie with Peyton Manning for the most in NFL history.

The record-tying strike came on a 21-yard play to Tre'Quan Smith in the second quarter.

Brees still has more than two full quarters left to break the record in prime time against Manning's former team.

The touchdown record has belonged to Manning since 2014, when, as a member of the Denver Broncos, he surpassed Packers legend Brett Favre.

Tom Brady is also in the race for the all-time record in passing scores, as he currently sits at 538 after throwing a pair in Sunday's win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
