Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said on Friday he anticipates newly acquired cornerback Jalen Ramsey and running back Todd Gurley will play in Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Gurley missed last week's loss to the San Francisco 49ers due to a quad injury.

On Tuesday, the Rams stunned the NFL world by sending two first-round picks to the Jacksonville Jaguars to land the disgruntled Ramsey.

The star corner will form a new starting duo alongside Troy Hill after Los Angeles placed Aqib Talib on injured reserve and shipped Marcus Peters to the Baltimore Ravens.

L.A. will hope the addition of Ramsey can help end a three-game losing streak that's allowed the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks to take control of the NFC West.

McVay added that running back Malcolm Brown is doubtful due to an ankle injury, according to ESPN's Lindsey Thiry. Rookie Darrell Henderson will likely act as Gurley's backup if Brown is unable to play.
