DeSean Jackson doesn't appear ready to return from an abdomen injury in time for a pivotal NFC East matchup.

The Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver isn't expected to suit up Sunday versus the Dallas Cowboys, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports.

Jackson, 32, remained sidelined at Wednesday's practice, though head coach Doug Pederson has yet to officially rule him out for Week 7. Pederson initially expressed hope the veteran would be able to play against Dallas.

After an explosive debut in his return to Philadelphia, the speedy wideout hurt his abdomen early in a Week 2 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. He's missed his team's last four games as a result.

The Eagles' offense has struggled in Jackson's absence, ranking 20th in total yards per game while lacking the ability to stretch the field vertically.

Pederson's squad is also battling a number of injuries on the defensive side of the ball. Cornerbacks Ronald Darby and Avonte Maddox appear unlikely to play Sunday, while linebacker Nigel Bradham and star defensive tackle Fletcher Cox missed Wednesday's practice.
