New York Jets defensive coordinator Gregg Williams addressed the media on Friday and answered questions regarding Odell Beckham Jr.'s accusations.

Williams responded to the first Beckham-oriented question by joking, "Odell who?"

Williams denied OBJ's remarks and chided the media for giving the All-Pro wideout attention.

"We don't do that, never done it anywhere I've been," Williams said of supposedly coaching cheap shots. "And you guys are cooperating, giving him attention. Just don't give him attention."

On Thursday during his own media session, Beckham accused Williams of coaching dirty plays, implying it was the coach who was behind the 2017 ankle injury he suffered in a preseason game that cost the wideout nearly all of that campaign.

"It changed my life forever," Beckham said of the hit that kick-started his ankle woes.

When a reporter teed up a question alluding to Beckham's talent, Williams cut him off.

Williams is infamous for his central role in "Bountygate" while he was the defensive coordinator for the New Orleans Saints from 2009-11. The program gave players rewards for injuring opponents and was exposed in 2012. The ensuing investigation resulted in an indefinite suspension for Williams, which was reversed after one season.

Williams' Jets and Beckham's Browns will meet this week for a Monday Night Football matchup at the Meadowlands.
