Oakland Raiders receiver Antonio Brown has lost his second helmet grievance against the NFL and will wear an approved model going forward, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported, citing a source.

Brown has narrowed his decision down to helmet manufacturers that are offering to produce a custom model and pay him to wear it, Florio added.

Brown's agent Drew Rosenhaus confirmed to Sirius XM Radio the outcome of the grievance and the offers on the table from helmet manufacturers to make a custom model for the receiver.

There's no word yet on whether the customized helmet will need to be certified and gain approval from the league before Brown takes the field with it.

In early August, an arbitrator ruled against Brown in his effort to wear the Schutt AiR Advantage helmet, which is no longer approved by the league's safety guidelines. He filed a second grievance a week later.
