Gary Kubiak still has an interest in being an offensive coordinator despite turning down the role with the Denver Broncos, and he is likely to have several suitors, including the Jacksonville Jaguars, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Broncos were linked to their former head coach, who has since served the team as a senior personnel advisor, but after lengthy talks, the two sides were unable to come together on staffing and offensive philosophy.

Denver hired defensive mastermind Vic Fangio as its head coach on Thursday and the assumption was Kubiak would handle the offense.

Jacksonville fired Nathaniel Hackett in November after the team struggled to score points in 2018. He was the Jaguars' offensive coordinator since 2016.

Kubiak is still under contract with the Broncos, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, but the two sides are amicable and the team won't stand in his way to pursue other opportunities.
