The New York Jets signed wide receiver Quincy Enunwa to a multi-year extension, the team announced on Friday.

The Jets didn't disclose the terms of the deal, but Eric Edholm of Pro Football Weekly reports that Enunwa inked a four-year extension worth up to $36 million with $20 million guaranteed.

"I knew when I got here that I wanted to be a Jet for a very long time," Enunwa said, via the team's official website. "Now, I'll get my opportunity and it feels really good."

Enunwa caught 38 passes for 449 yards and a touchdown in 11 games this season.

"Quincy is a key part of our foundation, and we are thrilled that this contract will keep him here for years to come," Jets general manager Mike Maccagnan said.

Enunwa has established himself as the Jets' No. 2 wide receiver behind Robby Anderson, and with an extension in place, he should remain a key component of the team's offense for the foreseeable future.
