The Arizona Cardinals enter the 2018 league year with no quarterbacks on their roster.

Incumbent starter Carson Palmer announced his retirement at the conclusion of the regular season, and injury replacements Blaine Gabbert and Drew Stanton are without contracts for next year.

Team president Michael Bidwill isn't concerned.

"We've got the GM in place (Steve Keim), and I really like our head coach (Steve Wilks) and everything I’ve seen from him so far," Bidwill said Tuesday morning during an appearance on Arizona Sports 98.7. "The quarterback thing will come. I don’t want to sound like we’re being cavalier about it but we’ve got to wait for free agency to start to see who is out there.

“I know we’re going to be aggressive, we’re going to have a plan.”

Bidwill said the Cardinals will look at the draft and free agency in order to determine the best option for addressing the position. Free agency opens at 4 p.m. ET on March 14. Along with Gabbert and Stanton, the open market is expected to include the likes of Kirk Cousins, Case Keenum, Sam Bradford, and Teddy Bridgewater.

The Cardinals are projected to have just under $23 million in cap space, according to Over The Cap.

Arizona owns pick No. 15 in the first round of the draft on April 26 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
