Jones: Prescott 'ready to go' for Week 3 despite ankle injury

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

The Dallas Cowboys don't have any concerns about Dak Prescott's status for Week 3 after the quarterback sustained an ankle injury in Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos.

Prescott appeared to suffer the injury while being tackled on a scramble, but he was able to finish the game.

"He's going to be ready to go ... He is going to be able to play Monday," Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday on 105.3 The Fan, according to Jon Machota of the Dallas Morning News.

Prescott will look to bounce back against the Arizona Cardinals after posting a 78.2 passer rating over the first two games of the season.
