Chick-fil-A inside Falcons' stadium will be open for only 1 game

The Atlanta Falcons' new stadium will include a Chick-fil-A, but fans will have to look elsewhere for food on most game days.

The booth inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium will be adhering to the company's closed-on-Sunday policy:

"Our founder, Truett Cathy, made the decision to close on Sundays in 1946 when he opened his first restaurant in Hapeville, Georgia. Having worked seven days a week in restaurants open 24 hours, Truett saw the importance of closing on Sundays so that he and his employees could set aside one day to rest and worship if they choose - a practice we uphold today," the Chick-fil-A website reads.

The only non-Sunday home game the Falcons have this season is a Thursday night matchup Dec. 7 against the New Orleans Saints. The stadium also hosts Major League Soccer's Atlanta United, college football games, and concerts, though.
