A Reebok jacket Michael Jordan reluctantly wore after winning gold with the "Dream Team" at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona is now available to purchase at auction.

The jacket, which features an American flag design and has "USA" printed across the front, is being sold by Sotheby's and carries an estimated value of $1 million to $3 million. Bidding is currently at $750,000.

Jordan wore the jacket alongside the rest of the United States men's Olympic basketball team as they received their gold medals at the 1992 Games but covered the Reebok logo due to his partnership with Nike. It still has the original safety pins covering the logo, according to Sotheby's.

The consignor of the jacket is former NBA media relations chief Brian McIntyre, who told Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press that Jordan gifted it to him after leaving the medal stand.

"He said, 'I certainly don't want it,'" McIntyre said.

Jordan later signed the jacket for McIntyre, writing, "To Brian, Thanks for Everything, Michael Jordan."

The jacket will be on display in New York from June 24 until the auction closes on June 28.
