Patrick Mahomes was impressed by Trevor Lawrence's decision to celebrate his first NFL postseason win at a Waffle House.

Mahomes told reporters Tuesday he doesn't remember how he celebrated his first playoff win, but he said he plans to take inspiration from Lawrence if the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the Jacksonville Jaguars this weekend.

"I can't remember exactly. I'm sure there was a couple Coors Lights that were drank," the Chiefs quarterback said. "But yeah, I didn't get Waffle House. That's a baller move, man. Maybe if we win this one, I'll think of somewhere to go that can match that."

Lawrence hit up a local Waffle House following the Jaguars' comeback victory over the Los Angeles Chargers. He later explained that he chose Waffle House because teammates Brandon Scherff and E.J. Perry had never been to one before.

The Chiefs and Jaguars will square off Saturday in the divisional round. The two teams previously met in Week 10, with the Chiefs defeating the Jaguars 27-17.
