Carmelo Anthony's life story will be told in a new documentary series.

"Seven" is a four-part series that will chronicle Anthony's life and career, covering both the good and bad experiences that helped shape who he is today, according to Nellie Andreeva of Deadline. Anthony will serve as an executive producer on the project through his company Creative 7.

The series promises to share the truth behind the notable moments from Anthony's career, some of which he has never spoken about publicly.

"The biggest question everyone is probably thinking is, 'Why now? Why choose this moment to tell my story?' The short of it is I've spent enough time letting other people speak for me. It's time for my truth," Anthony said. "I look forward to viewers finally having the opportunity to hear about my journey in my own words. Westbrook Studios, Falkon Entertainment, and my team at Creative 7 have been immensely supportive of my vision for this project, and I am proud that we have been able to make this series a reality."

Anthony, 38, is currently a free agent after spending last season with the Los Angeles Lakers.
