New England Patriots outside linebackers coach Steve Belichick doesn't sound too amused about receiving the meme treatment.

Belichick, the son of Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, recently went viral for a series of odd facial expressions he made during New England's Week 4 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

When asked about becoming a meme Tuesday, Belichick seemed to brush it off.

"Uh, yeah, I heard about that. I saw some of that stuff. I mean, nothing I could do about that," he said, according to CBS Boston. "I don't know. It is what it is. But, yeah, I mean, I don't know. There were some good ones out there. But I heard about it."

Belichick said he learned about the memes from former Patriots safety Patrick Chung.

"The first person I saw after the game was Chung, and he let me know about it. So, he thought it was funny," Belichick said. "But yeah, it was an eventful afternoon for the family, so there was a lot going on in my head outside of football. But he understood that, so he kept it lighthearted."

Belichick joined New England in 2012 and is in his second season as the team's outside linebackers coach.
