Every week, we go over some betting trends that apply to the college football slate. Here's what's on tap for Week 14:

BYU at San Diego State

You should circle every game in which San Diego State is getting points. Head coach Rocky Long is notorious for pulling out wins when his Aztecs are underdogs. But we're not touching the spread here. In its last 11 games as a 'dog, San Diego State is allowing 18.4 points per contest and its opponents are on an 11-0 run to the team total under.

Trend play: BYU team total under ~21.5

Ohio State at Michigan

The Wolverines aren't underdogs often, but you can expect some scoring when they are. The over is 6-1-1 during the last five seasons when Michigan is getting points with head coach Jim Harbaugh.

Trend play: Over 51

Indiana at Purdue

Indiana has been a good play to the over in plenty of situations. Not only have the Hoosiers cashed four of the last five overall, but they're also on a 15-2 run to the first-half over against Big Ten opponents. That trend moves to a perfect 9-0 when Indiana is on the road, as it is this weekend.

Trend play: 1H over

UConn at Temple

UConn has wins over Wagner and UMass but is 0-9 against the AAC this season. The Huskies are a pure fade in conference play, especially on the first-half spread, as they're riding a 2-13 run against the spread.

Trend play: Temple 1H

Missouri at Arkansas

Missouri is struggling mightily on offense. After averaging 38.3 points per game over their first six contests, the Tigers haven't topped 20 in any of the last five. Missouri is consequently 5-0 to both the under and team total under, as well as 0-5 ATS during that period.

Trend plays: Arkansas +12, Under 53.5, Missouri team total under ~32.5

Toledo at Central Michigan

After fielding one of the worst offenses in the country last season, Central Michigan has made huge strides under head coach Jim McElwain. His Chippewas rank in the top 50 nationally in most offensive categories and you can get them at a good spot this weekend. At home this season, Central Michigan is 5-0 both ATS and to the team total over.

Trend plays: Central Michigan -9.5, team total over ~37

Cincinnati at Memphis

This will be only the second time all year that Cincinnati is getting points on the road. Back in Week 2, the Bearcats went into the Shoe to face Ohio State and were blanked, 42-0. That's right on par with how the program has fared in recent years as a road underdog. Cincinnati is on a 7-0 run to the under when getting points away from home, averaging fewer than two touchdowns per game during that span.

Trend play: Under 57.5

Appalachian State at Troy

Appalachian State has been a cash cow for bettors. One of the best mid-major programs during the last few years, the Mountaineers are surging on the spread, riding a 20-6-2 run. They've been particularly exceptional on the road, where they're 11-1 ATS in the last 12 overall and 7-1 ATS when laying chalk.

Trend play: Appalachian State -13
