New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson is using his stats to give back to a local charity this season.

Robinson has pledged to donate $100 for each of his blocks to Tackle Kids Cancer at New Jersey's Hackensack Meridian Health Children's Cancer Institute, according to Ian Begley of SportsNet New York. The Knicks will also be donating $50 per block.

Robinson, the 36th overall pick of the 2018 draft, finished last season with 161 blocks - fourth in the NBA behind Myles Turner, Rudy Gobert, and Brook Lopez.

The Knicks open the season Wednesday night against the San Antonio Spurs.
