Not just America's pastime: Test your knowledge on Japan's baseball legacy

On this day in 1936, the very first professional baseball game was played in Japan.

In 1964, 28 years later, Masanori Murakami became the first Japanese-born player to appear in Major League Baseball, pitching one inning for the San Francisco Giants. No one followed him until 1995, but after that, players from Japan began making North American rosters more regularly.
