Your move, J.D. Martinez.

The Boston Red Sox have an offer out to the free-agent outfielder in the range of five years and $100 million, according to a source of ESPN's Buster Olney.

Boston's interest in the 30-year-old slugger has been a major talking point throughout the offseason. But, with Martinez's agent, Scott Boras, driving the ship, a deal has yet to be completed.

The latest news echoes what Bob Nightengale of USA Today reported at the beginning of January, when he said the Red Sox had made a five-year offer to Martinez.

If Martinez accepts $100 million, he'd ink the richest contract of the offseason, which has been slow. Carlos Santana signed a three-year, $60-million contract with the Philadelphia Phillies in mid-December.

Martinez entered free agency after an impressive campaign in which he belted 45 home runs and drove in 104 along with a .690 slugging percentage.

The one-time All-Star did most of his damage after coming to the Arizona Diamondbacks in a July trade. Martinez hit .302/.366/.741 with 29 home runs and 65 RBis during 62 games for the D-Backs in 2017.
