Former New York Giants head coach Joe Judge is joining the Ole Miss coaching staff, sources told ESPN's Chris Low.

Judge is expected to serve in a senior analyst role for the Rebels next season, per Low. The 42-year-old spent the past 12 years in the NFL, where he worked with various position groups.

Judge posted a 10-23 record as the head coach of the Giants in 2020 and 2021. He was fired after the 2021 season.

The Pennsylvania native then returned to the New England Patriots, serving as the assistant head coach over the past two seasons under coach Bill Belichick. He had previously spent eight seasons in New England before taking the Giants job.

Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin has been stockpiling his staff with personnel who have ties to coaching legends Belichick and Nick Saban. Judge worked for both men during his career, which includes serving as the special teams coordinator at Alabama from 2009-11 under Saban.

Judge is the second coach with ties to Mississippi State to join Kiffin's staff; he played collegiately for the Bulldogs. Zach Arnett served as the head coach of Mississippi State in 2023 after joining the program in 2020 as its defensive coordinator.
