Cincinnati's postponed game against Tulsa will be moved from Saturday to Dec. 5 due to the Bearcats' COVID-19 issues, the AAC announced Thursday.

"We are disappointed we will be unable to play Tulsa Saturday," Cincinnati athletic director John Cunningham said in a statement to ESPN. "We knew this season was going to require a lot of patience and flexibility and disruptions were likely to happen.

"The health and safety of student-athletes, coaches, and staff is always our primary focus and we appreciated the outstanding work and continued dedication of our medical staff throughout the pandemic."

Tulsa athletic director Rick Dickson said he's "disappointed" his team - which has only played two games this season due to coronavirus related delays and cancellations - won't get to host its Homecoming game as scheduled.

Cincinnati is next slated to face No. 17 SMU on Oct. 24, while Tulsa is scheduled to play USF on Oct. 23. The Golden Hurricane's next home game is Oct. 30 against East Carolina.

The AAC also announced the conference title game will be held on either Dec. 12 or Dec. 19.
