The College Football Hall of Fame was damaged Friday night during riots in downtown Atlanta.

The museum had a window smashed, while some protesters were seen looting the building, according to Eric Stirgus of the Atlanta Journal Constitution. The Chick-fil-A restaurant next door was also damaged.

Riots broke out in cities across the country as demonstrators protested the killing of George Floyd, an African-American male who died in Minneapolis after a white policeman held his knee against his neck for over eight minutes. The officer, Derek Chauvin, was charged Friday with third-degree murder and manslaughter.
