Alabama's WR talent on full display in demolition of Southern Miss
Another week, another dominant showing from Alabama's offense.
The Crimson Tide's latest victim was Southern Miss. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa hit his receivers early and often en route to 28 first-half points.
Junior Henry Ruggs III was the first player in on the fun. Ruggs illustrated his game-breaking speed in the opening quarter, taking a short slant 45 yards to the house.

Ruggs wasn't finished there, however. Minutes later, he and Tagovailoa hooked up on a 74-yard bomb. On the play, Ruggs moved into second on Alabama's all-time receiving touchdowns list.

After running back Najee Harris caught Tua's third touchdown pass of the day in the second quarter, Jerry Jeudy broke loose for a 17-yard score.

In what can only be an illustration of how dominant Crimson Tide receivers have been in recent years, Jeudy tied Ruggs for second in team history with 21 touchdown receptions.
Jeudy moved into sole possession of second place after catching a 20-yard score early in the third quarter.

Ruggs and Jeudy finished the game with 148 and 96 receiving yards, respectively. Alabama rolled past Southern Miss 49-7.
