Tua Tagovailoa is breaking records at Alabama.

The junior became the first quarterback in school history to throw five touchdown passes and more than 400 yards in the same game during Saturday's win over South Carolina, according to Cecil Hurt of the Tuscaloosa News.

Tagovailoa went 28-for-36 and passed for 444 yards and five TDs in a 47-23 beatdown of the Gamecocks. He also tied a school record for most passing touchdowns in a game.

The left-handed QB has rarely played deep into a contest. He relieved Jalen Hurts in blowouts in 2017, then Hurts did the same for him during the 2018 season.

With the victory, the Crimson Tide improved their record to 3-0.
