Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts spent Saturday meeting with Oklahoma after entering the NCAA transfer portal, according to Jason Kersey of The Athletic.

Hurts has already visited Maryland and apparently plans to stop by Miami.

Oklahoma junior quarterback Austin Kendall - the man expected to succeed Heisman winner Kyler Murray - is also exploring a transfer, so the Sooners' starting job could be up for grabs. Tanner Mordecai and incoming five-star recruit Spencer Rattler are the other passers on Oklahoma's roster.

Hurts went 26-2 as a starter at Alabama and led the Crimson Tide to consecutive College Football Playoff appearances. He ultimately lost his job to Tua Tagovailoa.
