Plenty of new branches have sprouted from the Nick Saban coaching tree since the national championship game, and the Alabama staff has been decimated as a result.

Dan Enos became the fourth assistant to leave Tuscaloosa on Friday, as he was named the new offensive coordinator at Miami. All four exits have come on the offensive side of the ball.

The Crismon Tide have also lost a pair of coaching staffers, as analyst Butch Jones took a job at Maryland while graduate assistant Kyle Pope went to Liberty.

Running backs coach Joe Pannunzio and tight ends coach Jeff Banks, who also works on special teams, are the only remaining offensive assistants at Alabama.

The Crimson Tide lost six assistants last year, making the ongoing shakeup an even harder pill for Saban to swallow.

The frequent turnover cost Alabama a chance to sign the top recruit in its state in 2018, as wide receiver Justyn Ross headed to Clemson.

"The stability that Clemson has. They don't really have coaches leaving in and out like that and learning different stuff every year," Ross said of his decision to spurn the Tide, according to Sports Illustrated's Ross Dellenger.

Ross wound up posting 1,000 yards for Clemson as a freshman, and torched Alabama for 153 yards and a touchdown in the title game.
