It appears Rich Rodriguez is set for a return to college football, as a source told Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports that Ole Miss is expected to hire the former Arizona coach as its offensive coordinator.

The move would mark the first SEC stop in the 55-year-old's illustrious coaching career, one that has taken him to West Virginia, Michigan, and Arizona as the head man.

Rodriguez has been the architect of some of college football's most explosive offenses, relying on a spread-based attack that has produced some gaudy quarterback stats for players such as Pat White, Denard Robinson and Khalil Tate.

He will certainly have his work cut out for him with Ole Miss; the nation's 33rd-ranked offense will have to replace star receivers D.K. Metcalf and A.J. Brown after both players declared for the NFL draft.
