Georgia Tech parted ways with head coach Josh Pastner, sources told Stadium's Jeff Goodman on Friday.

Pastner spent seven seasons at the helm of the program, making just one NCAA Tournament and failing to put together 20 wins since his debut campaign in 2016-17.

The Yellow Jackets won the ACC Tournament in 2021, his best season at the school. Featuring now-NBA guard Jose Alvarado, they fell 71-60 as a No. 9 seed to No. 8 seed Loyola Chicago in March Madness' Round of 64.

Georgia Tech put together a 15-18 mark this season, going 6-14 in conference play. The Yellow Jackets won seven of their last 10, including an ACC Tournament game victory over Florida State.

Pastner came to Atlanta after seven seasons at Memphis, where he made four straight NCAA Tournaments from 2011-14.

The 45-year-old played four seasons at Arizona, winning a national championship in 1997.
