Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James tweeted Tuesday to dismiss a report that Oregon is the front-runner for his son Bronny James.

Bronny is the 39th overall recruit on the ESPN 100 for 2023. The four-star prospect and his family have had calls with Oregon and USC, although the Ducks didn't make a formal offer, sources told Zagsblog's Adam Zagoria.

UCLA, Michigan, and Ohio State are also among the schools pursuing the Sierra Canyon point guard, ESPN's Paul Biancardi reports.

LeBron has repeatedly stated his desire to one day suit up alongside Bronny.

"My last year will be played with my son," he told The Athletic's Jason Lloyd in February. "Wherever Bronny is at, that's where I'll be. I would do whatever it takes to play with my son for one year. It's not about the money at that point."

Bronny is on a European tour with the California Basketball Club. He recently drew attention with a highlight-reel poster slam against a member of the U18 French Select team.
