The Mountain West and Atlantic 10 Conference agreed to postpone its challenge series for one year, the leagues announced Monday in a joint statement.
Ten college basketball teams from each conference were set to square off in early December, with the matchups split between Mountain West and Atlantic 10 venues.
The 20 schools who were supposed to compete are as follows:
Atlantic 10 | Mountain West |
---|---|
Davidson | Fresno State |
Rhode Island | Colorado State |
Saint Joseph's | Nevada |
Saint Louis | New Mexico |
VCU | Wyoming |
Dayton | Air Force |
Duquesne | Boise State |
George Mason | San Diego State |
Richmond | UNLV |
St. Bonaventure | Utah State |
The NCAA recently selected Nov. 25 as the official start date for the 2020-21 campaign, causing the rescheduling and relocation of several marquee early-season events on the college basketball schedule.
