Pac-12 commissioner tests positive for COVID-19

Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott has tested positive for COVID-19, the conference announced Friday.

"After experiencing mild flu-like symptoms late this week and out of an abundance of caution, Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott was tested for COVID-19," the conference said in a statement. "The test for commissioner Scott came back positive, and as a result, he is self-quarantining at the direction of his physician."

The 55-year-old continues to carry out his daily work duties remotely.

Earlier Friday, the Pac-12 announced that fall sports - including football, men's and women's soccer, and women's volleyball - will play conference-only schedules in 2020.

The decision comes just two days after the Ivy League canceled its fall sports season.
