Virginia Tech forward Kerry Blackshear Jr. has entered the transfer portal, sources told ESPN's Jeff Borzello.

The 6-foot-10 junior is eligible to leave the Hokies as a grad transfer, which means he'd be eligible to immediately play for another school next season.

If he decides to leave, Blackshear would likely be the most prized commodity on the transfer market after helping Virginia Tech reach its first Sweet 16 since 1967. In 2018-19, he averaged 14.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists across 35 games.

The Hokies could potentially see all of their top five leading scorers leave this offseason. Sophomore Nickeil Alexander-Walker has entered the NBA draft, while Ahmed Hill, Justin Robinson, and Ty Outlaw are outgoing seniors.

Additionally, Virginia Tech lost head coach Buzz Williams to Texas A&M after five seasons with the program.
