St. John's will meet with Loyola-Chicago head coach Porter Moser on Monday, sources told SNY's Adam Zagoria.

Moser notably led the Ramblers on a Cinderella run to the Final Four in 2018. He's gone 141-125 in eight seasons since taking over at the program and previously served as head coach at Arkansas-Little Rock and Illinois State.

This season, Loyola-Chicago earned its second straight Missouri Valley Conference regular-season title, but failed to earn a berth in last month's NCAA Tournament after falling to Bradley in the conference tournament semifinal. The team's season then ended with a loss to Creighton in the first round of the National Invitation Tournament.

The Red Storm are without a head coach after Chris Mullin stepped down on Tuesday following four years on the job. St. John's made its first NCAA Tournament appearance under Mullin this past season, but was eliminated in the First Four by Arizona State and is still seeking its first tournament win since 2000.

Iona head coach Tim Cluess is also in the mix for the St. John's vacancy, sources told Zagoria.
