Duke superstar Zion Williamson has declared for the 2019 NBA Draft, the forward announced on Instagram.

Williamson enjoyed one of the best freshman seasons in NCAA history, winning National College Player of the Year, ACC Player of the Year, and was named a consensus first-team All-American.

The 6-foot-7 star is widely expected to go first overall after showing off his two-way potential in leading the Blue Devils to a 32-6 finish and an Elite Eight appearance.

Williamson's versatile abilities were magnified on the big stage, receiving national attention throughout the year and helping ESPN's collegiate basketball ratings increase by 15 percent during the regular season, according to the network.

The 18-year-old joins fellow one-and-done Blue Devils RJ Barrett and Cam Reddish in the draft. Duke's fourth star, Tre Jones, has already announced his intention to remain in Durham, N.C., for another season.

Williamson averaged 22.6 points and 8.9 rebounds in 33 appearances with the Blue Devils.
